While the game itself keeps up the theme of a cult, preaching the "Gay Gods" (formerly "Gay Jesus") and the overall cannibalistic theme, many have noted that the owner Valindra shares many qualities of a cult leader, or at the very least being abusive toward group members. Information Controversies and alleged Cult Activities The "Gay Pirate" Jack supposedly passed away, being swept by the flood. The Jellyfish population increased, making for an abundance of seafood. The oceans started to flood, and many old islands were completely submerged in the water. The Isles experienced extreme thunderstorms, and rain. The Nurses that went were never heard from again.Ī third crisis emerged. A couple of them built a giant blimp to head out for "Les Beyond", a paradise in the east. The Nurses renovated the sanatorium, adding a new floor, in hopes of blocking out the overgrown rooms and relying on the new space. However, this boon came to bite back at them, as the island was slowly beginning to become overgrown with plant life, as the melon trees had been left on their own devices. The Nurses even kept a giant melon tree in the Sanatorium for easy food.
For years, the inhabitants of De Pride Isle had enjoyed an endless supply of "Pride Melons", which were native to the island and grew everywhere. Despite this, the Nurses still managed to feign ignorance, calling the spiders "delusions".Īlthough the Nurses managed to handle the spiders off barely, another problem arose, one not so easily solved. The situation became so bad, that the Nurses of Divine Sister had to implement a bunker system, where they would set off the "Holy Alarm" in their control room, and call every patient to the bunker, whenever there were too many spiders to handle, or a nurse had been murdered. The Sanatorium turned into a living hell. These spiders had a range of abilities, being able to phase through doors and grab other people. Insane patients underwent the most horrific transformations of all, they transformed into giant spiders. Like before, the transformations of patients into deer subsided, and everyone knew better than to celebrate, as they had learned from their experience with the deer. These deer would cause even more chaos, with nurses being regularly overwhelmed and patients being impaled and eaten in droves. The patients, instead transformed into monstrous deer, a thousandfold more vicious than their unholy predecessors. Patients stopped transforming into cannibals, which brought relief for a short time, although people would not realize the disastrous consequences this change brought. Once again, the Sanatorium received underwent changes under mysterious circumstances. The Nurses, oddly enough, feigned ignorance of the cannibals, claiming they were all "dreams and hallucinations." The parachute came with another set of water, known as the "Expired Water", which actually accelerated the process of transforming into a monster. The so called holy water countered the effects of the hallucinations, preventing people from going insane. The Nurses also received "holy water" from a parachute that dropped into the sanatorium, supposedly coming from the "Gay Gods" (although it was later revealed through a sheet in their office that the for the water was Silver Lipgloss, Benign Nail Polish, Sage, along with water). The Nurses developed measures to counter these cannibals, knocking them out with sticks and throwing them in cells. These monsters, dubbed "cannibals" by the patients and islanders, would go on to create chaos and kill as many people as possible. People entering the area received hallucinations and transformed into monsters at night. Soon, it became clear that something was off about the sanatorium. They also enlisted the help of a gay pirate named Jack, who delivered people to the island where the sanatorium stands and regularly delivered seafood such as jellyfish and seafood. The sanatorium was in terrible shape at first, with no running power, and holes in the walls and ceiling. The Nurses of Divine Sister moved into a location known as De Pride Isle, and set up a sanatorium. 2.1 Controversies and alleged Cult Activities.
